14 students at IIT Kharagpur have been awarded scholarships.
The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, (IIT-KGP) has lined up four courses for rural development this year to facilitate skill development among the rural youth as well as create self-employment opportunities.

The UGC defended Jio Institute's inclusion on the grounds that it was selected under rules for greenfield institutions. According to officials, 11 such institutions had applied for the IoE tag and Jio was selected from among them.
